Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran guru Al-Qur'an Hadits dalam meningkatkan hafalan Al-Qur'an siswa melalui program tahfizhul Qur'an di MTsN 1 Sumenep. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data meliputi dua jenis, yaitu: sumber data primer dan sekunder. Hasil penelitian adalah: 1). Peran guru Al-Qur'an Hadits dalam meningkatkan hafalan Al-Qur'an siswa melalui program tahfizhul Qur'an di MTsN 1 Sumenep adalah sebagai motivator, pengelola, pembimbing dan evaluator siswa, yaitu memilih waktu dan tempat yang tepat untuk menghafal, 2). Faktor pendukung: motivasi diri, memahami makna Al-Qur'an yang dihafal, jadwal dengan beberapa metode yang disediakan, dan fasilitas yang memadai. Faktor penghambat: faktor guru, yaitu kurangnya perbandingan guru tahfizh di MTsN 1 Sumenep dengan jumlah siswa tahfizh.

This research aims to determine the role of Al-Qur'an Hadith teachers in improving students' memorization of the Al-Qur'an through the tahfizhul Qur'an program at MTsN 1 Sumenep. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research. Data sources include two types, namely: primary and secondary data sources. The results of the research are: 1). The role of the Al-Qur'an Hadith teacher in improving students' memorization of the Al-Qur'an through the tahfizhul Qur'an program at MTsN 1 Sumenep is as a motivator, manager, guide and evaluator of students, namely choosing the right time and place to memorize, 2). Supporting factors: self-motivation, understanding the meaning of the Al-Qur'an being memorized, a schedule with several methods provided, and adequate facilities. Inhibiting factors: teacher factors, namely the lack of comparison of tahfizh teachers at MTsN 1 Sumenep with the number of tahfizh students.
