Dinamika Resiliensi dan Transformasi Pesantren Al-Fattah di Era Globalisasi

Globalisasi telah menimbulkan disrupsi besar dalam lanskap pendidikan Islam, menuntut lembaga-lembaga tradisional seperti pesantren untuk beradaptasi atau menghadapi risiko marginalisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis dinamika resiliensi dan bentuk transformasi yang dilakukan oleh Pesantren Al-Fattah dalam merespons tantangan era globalisasi. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam dan analisis dokumen kelembagaan. Analisis data model interaktif Miles, Huberman, dan Saldana meliputi kondensasi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian yaitu Pesantren Al-Fattah membangun resiliensi melalui tiga mekanisme transformasi utama: 1) Re-kontekstualisasi kurikulum yang mengintegrasikan tradisi kitab kuning dengan sains kontemporer dan literasi digital; 2) Transformasi manajemen birokratis menuju manajemen berbasis teknologi informasi (smart pesantren) untuk meningkatkan akuntabilitas publik; dan 3) Ekspansi kultural melalui penguatan bahasa asing dan kerjasama internasional. Penelitian menyimpulkan Pesantren Al-Fattah tidak mengalami sekularisasi akibat globalisasi, melainkan transformasi kritis yang memungkinkan mempertahankan otoritas keislaman sambil berpartisipasi aktif dalam masyarakat global.
Abstract
Globalization has caused major disruption in the landscape of Islamic education, requiring traditional institutions such as Islamic boarding schools to adapt or face the risk of marginalization. This study aims to analyze the dynamics of resilience and the forms of transformation undertaken by Al-Fattah Islamic Boarding School in responding to the challenges of globalization. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection was conducted through three months of participatory observation, in-depth interviews with pesantren leaders (Kiai), foundation administrators, teachers, and students, as well as analysis of institutional documents. Data analysis used the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana, which includes data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that Al-Fattah Islamic Boarding School builds resilience through three main transformation mechanisms: 1) Recontextualization of the curriculum, which integrates traditional Islamic texts with contemporary science and digital literacy; 2) Transformation of bureaucratic management towards information technology-based management (smart pesantren) to improve public accountability; and 3) Cultural expansion through the strengthening of foreign languages (Arabic and English) and international cooperation. This study concludes that Al-Fattah Islamic Boarding School has not experienced secularization due to globalization, but rather a critical transformation that has enabled it to maintain Islamic authority while actively participating in.
