A monotonous learning process will result in boredom and low student motivation. The use of multimedia is a suitable choice in an effort to increase student motivation, especially in Islamic Education. This research was conducted with the aim of describing the use of multimedia in increasing student motivation, as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors in the use of multimedia in Islamic Education at SD Negeri Sumberjo 1 Wonosalam. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research design. Data collection techniques use interview, observation, and documentation techniques. Furthermore, data analysis is carried out using qualitative descriptive analysis methods, namely in the form of written data exposure related to the data and triangulation. The results of this study are that the use of multimedia in Islamic Education has a positive impact on increasing student motivation, multimedia helps explain material in a more interesting way, enriches learning experiences, and increases students' understanding and interest in the subject. In addition, the use of multimedia also encourages students to be more active in discussions and asking questions, creating a more interactive and enjoyable learning atmosphere. The supporting factors for the use of multimedia are that it provides convenience in presenting and delivering learning materials, making teaching and learning activities more interesting and enjoyable. Education has an important role in producing a generation with high intellectual and noble morals. Islamic Religious Education is the basis that refers to the source of truth of values ​​that can lead to the goals of character education, which is a necessity for the Indonesian nation. This study aims to examine character education through Islamic Religious Education in the digital era. The method used in this study is qualitative with a literature review study type. Researchers analyzed written literature as the main source, including books, research journals, and seminar proceedings. From the literature review, it was found that character education through Islamic Religious Education is based on religious values, Pancasila, culture, and national education goals. One AI technology currently being widely discussed is ChatGPT. ChatGPT is a smart device technology that uses deep learning methods and is capable of producing output similar to humans when interpreting and responding to natural language. This study used a literature review of seven journals. The purpose of this study was to determine whether ChatGPT can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the learning process. The results of this study indicate that the use of ChatGPT in education has a positive side, as it can assist students in completing their assignments. However, its use requires guidance and warnings to prevent graduates from lacking critical thinking and writing skills and being lazy and simply copying and pasting. The use of ChatGPT technology in education offers the potential to improve the quality of learning. However, the use of this technology requires attention to privacy and ethical aspects of its use. The role of Islamic boarding schools is very important for humans and especially teenage students today, especially in improving religious understanding because in this modern era there are still some teenagers who do not understand religion so that they make wrong choices in choosing friends that make parents anxious and worried. Based on temporary data in the field, one of the problems in improving the religious understanding of Ar-Rahman students is laziness and lack of enthusiasm in learning.</p> <p>This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The data sources include two types: First, primary data, obtained directly from the research subjects through interviews with the caretakers of the boarding school, administrators/ustadz, and students. Second, secondary data sources include notes, drawings, and photographs from the secretary. Data collection methods included interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used in this study included data collection, data reduction, and data presentation.</p> <p>Research findings: The role of the Ar-Rahman Islamic boarding school in enhancing the religious understanding of Ar-Rahman students is to shape a young generation with religious character. The boarding school's role is also as an educational institution, a social institution, and a religious dissemination institution. However, this progress is often accompanied by moral degradation, spiritual crisis, and value disorientation. This research aims to examine the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) as the main foundation for the formation of modern civilization with a religious, ethical and innovative character. The research method used is library research with a descriptive qualitative approach, using primary data sources in the form of the Koran, hadith, and classical Islamic literature, and secondary sources in the form of books, articles and the latest scientific journals. The research results show that PAI not only functions to transfer religious knowledge, but also builds moral integrity, strengthens work ethics, and encourages innovation based on spiritual values. The integration of Islamic values ​​with 21st century competencies (critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication, character and citizenship) makes PAI relevant in responding to global challenges.
